California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) approved programs offered for teachers to maintain, update, or earn credentials and added authorizations. Programs include offerings to fulfill requirements for Induction, CLAD Through CTEL, Reading & Literacy Authorization, Designated Subjects, Added Authorizations and candidates finishing the California Clear Credential program.
The online English Learner (CLAD) Through CTEL program is designed for candidates to earn a English Learner Added Authorization for a California Teaching or Service Credential. This program reflects standards adopted by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for English Learner (CLAD) Through CTEL Programs. Combined CTEL exam test scores and coursework option is available.
The Reading and Literacy Added Authorization prepares teachers in reading and literacy using a solid curriculum that expands their basic assumptions and knowledge of reading foundations, reading assessment, reading research, reading intervention, reading strategies and the design of effective literacy models.
